Disability Benefits Disputes

We help clients navigate disputes with insurance companies over denied or terminated disability benefits. Our services include challenging denials or terminations of short-term disability benefits, long-term disability benefits, and Canada Pension Plan Disability benefits.

Civil Litigation

We offer skilled representation to individuals and small businesses involved in various disputes before a court or tribunal, including contractual disputes, human rights and discrimination claims, debt recovery and collections claims, insurance disputes, professional negligence claims, and intentional tort claims (e.g. assault, battery, false imprisonment, and defamation).

Ludmilla Jarda

Founder and Principal Lawyer
Ludmilla is a fluently bilingual lawyer and seasoned litigator with over a decade of experience. Throughout her legal career, she has helped clients resolve their legal disputes and when necessary, she has represented clients before the court or tribunal. Most recently, she was an adjudicator with the Licence Appeal Tribunal where she adjudicated nearly 700 accident benefits claims. She is passionate about education and mentorship, she was a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College and a legal instructor at the University of Ottawa’s Law Practice Program. She is also a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and she is actively involved in her community. She is one of Canada's Top 100 Black Women to Watch 2025.
